The Animal Kingdom Jewelry
This is an information graphic that catalogs the animal-shaped jewelry I own. I scanned some of my favorite pieces of jewelry and wrote anecdotes about a few pieces. The filled in circles and moons behind each piece indicate its habitat, or location in my room. The rings indicate the lifespan, or how long I have owned each piece. The colors indicate how I acquired each piece of jewelry.
WMD Timeline
This timeline shows the History of the World Movement for Democracy. The green and blue are their corporate colors and circular images highlight especially significant events.
AHLA Public Interest
This infographic was used as a center spread in the AHLA Connections magazine to promote fundraising. The tree represents the growth within the organization’s public interest efforts. A team and I came up developed the concept of growth and using roots and the phases of tree growth as a metaphor. I illustrated the the infographic from scratch and applied textures to give it more life.
Food Insecurity
These are two of a series of infographics about food insecurity in a particular neighborhood of Washington, DC created for the DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative. Each infographic had on image with a color overlay relating to the subject. Each one also used a different predominate color pulled from their brand colors. To keep them consistent each infographic was laid out in the same general format and used the same fonts and similar illustration styles. This project uses a combination of stock illustrations and illustrations I created.
The Swimmers Strike Back
This is an illustration I created for a star wars themed winter swim meet.
Carlos Rosario Report
This was a center spread for Carlos Rosario's Annual report. Carlos Rosario is an International Public Charter school that primarily caters to Washington, DC’s immigration community. They put out a report each year showing the accomplishments, demographics, and finances of the school and it’s community. This spread shows the demographics of the students.
Maps
The map on the right if an Island in Maine. It show all the major attractions including a WWII army fort, a bike rental shop, and an ice cream shop among others. I designed and illustrated the map. The second map was for my cousins wedding. It shows the location of each of the wedding events, I used a simple illustration style for this one.
Milk Snake

Knowledge
This is an illustration of the word knowledge using only letters.
Alphabet Book
This was an alphabet book about parts of the human body. The illustrations were hand drawn and scanned in. The typesetting was done in illustrator. The book was bound with leather to emulate skin.
